Japanese Acupuncture and Fertility
Trying for a family for months with no results? Japanese Acupuncture can assist in preparation for and support of IVF and infertility treatments. In Australia, one in six couple are classified as infertile, and one in three women over 35 experience natural fertility problems. Japanese acupuncture offers better fertility to patients wishing to conceive naturally or those needing help through IVF treatment.
For over 18 years, I have been helping couples conceive, stay pregnant, have an easier and safer birth, and to produce a healthy baby. During that time, I have learnt what works and what doesn’t.
Chinese and Japanese medicine help to develop follicles and produce better quality eggs. Treatment is tailored to the individual’s exact condition and the root cause of the problems.
Why does acupuncture work? Acupuncture is thought to work by regulating the body’s systems, aiding blood flow to the reproductive organs and stabilising hormone levels which in turn results in improved ovarian function in women and sperm production in men.
When should you use Acupuncture for infertility? For treatment for fertility, it is better to do more than less. It is common for people to use acupuncture for 3 to 4 months before insemination, IVF or donor egg transfer occurs. Treatments on women can last up to 12 weeks of pregnancy which can assist in the prevention of miscarriage. Treatments are risk free as acupuncture does not have side effects.
Infertility is a difficult medical condition to treat. Acupuncture produces highly positive results for both female and male fertility.
