When using preventive measures, acupuncture and east Asian Meridian Therapy can be very beneficial in assisting the aging process, which may help patients to manage a range of symptoms, including pain, stress and fatigue. Master Therapies offer facial acupuncture that may assist in preventative care, so you can look and feel healthy.
Anytime you can take care of something before a problem develops, it will save you time and money in the long run.
Classical Chinese Medicine (East Asian Meridian Therapy – EAMT) and Traditional Chinese Medicine, however, view the underlying cause of pre-mature aging as a form of degeneration. The Huangdi Neijing (Yellow Emperor’s Internal Classic) states: “one who is over 40 years of age will only have half of his yin-qi left” that means the body’s fundamental substances and physiological functions have declined dramatically in one’s 40s.
To age healthfully, we need to protect our energy and vitality. This involves maintaining overall good health, eating a balanced diet, having the proper amount of sleep, a positive mood, avoiding extreme stimulation from the outside environment and maintaining treatments with Classical Chinese Medicine (EAMT) for being healthy as you age. Chinese Medicine treatments can help with chronic pain related to depression by managing the underlying chronic pain. It is a great way to improve the efficiency and longevity of your body and halt premature or unhealthy aging.
East Asian Meridian Therapy treatments, along with good nutrition and a balanced lifestyle, are aimed at achieving 3 objectives:
Maintaining healthy skin involves replenishing blood and activating its circulation, nourishing it with nutrients in the body for lubrication.
Generally, by the age of 40, most people begin to experience a myriad of aging maladies ranging from heart disease, diabetes, autoimmune disorders, obesity, arthritis, stroke, osteoporosis, Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. Many feel tired, anxious, depressed and unfulfilled; they may also feel out of shape and complain of aches and pains – all of which may be sub-clinical signs and symptoms of aging (We can choose to be healthy by choice or prolong getting good health.)
Causes of aging range from decreased hormonal production and toxic overload to blockages and congestion limiting oxygen and nutrients to the cells. We all have this, some more than others. The treatment from acupuncture assists restoration by restoring vitality, balancing body functions, activating circulation, nourishing hormones, removing impurities through the eliminating organs and managing pain, stress and fatigue related to autoimmune disorders hence having a calmer, healthier effect on the body as a whole holistically.
Facial acupuncture is a complete constitutional treatment that views the face as an extension of meridians and channels of the body which flow from the feet to the head.
When the face is treated, the blood flow and circulation increase, carrying nutrients to the cells. The body interprets the insertion of the needle as a “positive” injury which can then stimulate collagen and elastin production.
The Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal protocol is more than just acupuncture. It is deeply relaxing and designed to treat both the body and the face. This means that as the appearance of the face is treated, so is the body’s overall health. We treat the body as a whole with variations of acupuncture and facial acupuncture. This, in turn, benefits the whole body and the facial muscles.
Constitutional Facial Acupuncture manages health and well-being through Acupuncture. It is an integral part of Chinese medicine practice, which may help patients address a range of symptoms, including pain, stress, and fatigue, and improve skin vitality.
Skin restoration requires:
Acupuncture is carried out:
Firstly, filaments are placed in the body to treat the body as a whole for health and vitality. These fine filaments are then placed at various facial and neck acupuncture points to improve circulation. This two-stage approach allows for assisting nourishment to the face. The face lifts via the acupuncture points through the muscles’ own toning and tightening action while the filaments stimulate circulation. Each treatment is specifically tailored to the individual.
A course constitutes between 10 and 20 treatments. On average, between 10 to 15 treatments are needed. Once a course of treatment has been completed, monthly maintenance treatments are recommended to maintain the benefits on both the face and general health.
